Platinum Anniversary Annual Dinner
With this year marking the 70th anniversary of the Cobb Chamber’s Annual Dinner, the event was certainly a reason to celebrate. The Chamber was led for two years by Chamber Chairman Rob Garcia, president and COO of Bank of North Georgia. Rob was a fearless leader in every sense of the word since early 2010, and we cannot thank him enough for his support and strong leadership.
At the Annual Dinner, held on Jan. 28 at the Cobb Galleria Centre, the Chamber commemorated a bittersweet change of office as we said goodbye to Rob and welcomed Tony Britton, Senior Vice President at Community & Southern Bank, as the incoming chairman. Tony has been a dedicated Chairman’s Club member and Campaign volunteer for several years now and we look forward to his leadership in 2012.
With Tony stepping in as the 2012 Chamber chairman, we also welcomed Greg Morgan of Mauldin & Jenkins as our 2012 chairman elect. Greg is also a Chairman’s Club member and has served on the Board of Directors for several years.
