Cobb Chamber of Commerce Facts
Established in 1942, the Cobb Chamber of Commerce represents the diverse, dynamic business community of Cobb County. The Cobb Chamber is a member-supported business organization working to maintain a healthy economy by bringing business and industry to the area and helping established firms grow.
The Cobb Chamber has nearly 2,500 members representing large and small, domestic and international businesses.
The Cobb Chamber’s mission is to strengthen the economy, promote the community, build solid relationships and provide quality customer service.

The Cobb Chamber works in the areas of economic development, small business, education, government relations, membership development, transportation and marketing/communications. Community development efforts include programs to promote the military, law enforcement and leadership development.

Through six Area Councils in the Cumberland, East Cobb, Marietta, Northwest Cobb, Smyrna and South Cobb areas, the Cobb Chamber advocates for Cobb’s business community.

The Cobb Chamber administers the Development Authority of Cobb County and the Cumberland Community Improvement District, which supports Commuter Club.

The Cobb Chamber provides frequent seminars on a variety of business topics. Demographic data, maps, and directories of various businesses are available. Cobb Chamber publications include a member newsletter DIRECT, an E-newsletter that is published monthly, while the Cobb In Focus magazine is published bi-monthly.
