2009 Membership Campaign Teams

• Bank of North Georgia is a full service financial institution offering personal banking, real estate and mortgage lending, commercial lending, SBA loans, business support and technology-based products. The staff at Bank of North Georgia, which has multiple locations in Cobb, is dedicated to helping the community in many ways. Continuous support of the membership campaign is just one example of their strong commitment to Cobb County.
  
  
• Branch Banking & Trust Co. (BB&T) is a fast growing financial holding company with more than $152 billion in assets. Giving back to the community is part of their management philosophy. BB&T is involved in making the community a better place. BB&T is on board once again with a ready and willing team.
  
  
• The Chamber Ambassadors are a dedicated group who serve as volunteer Chamber liaisons by contacting new members, attending Chamber functions and facilitating networking among members. This dynamic group gives their time to support Chamber members in getting the most value for their membership. 
  
  
• Cobb EMC is one of Cobb County’s best known utilities; while its affiliate Cobb Energy, offers products and services such as natural gas, telephone and home and business security. The Chamber counts on Cobb EMC/Cobb Energy each year for their wonderful, enthusiastic team spirit and willingness to step in and get the job done.
  
  
• Cobb Galleria Centre is a multi-purpose convention center featuring 144,000 square feet of exhibition space, a 25,000-square-foot ballroom, 20 meeting rooms and four boardrooms offering full service food and beverage services. The Cobb Chamber is excited to have the Cobb Galleria Centre participating again and building on last years' great success.
  
  
• Although Colonial Bank offers the deep resources of a strong regional bank, it maintains the personal touch of a community bank through local boards of directors in all regions and keeps active involvement in the community, such as the Cobb Chamber's membership drive.
  
  
• Community Bank of the South (CBS) is an enthusiastic team committed to meeting its goals. CBS is a locally owned and operated community bank with multiple full-service locations throughout Cobb County. We thank them for their support!
  
  
• First Landmark Bank  are dedicated to serving the banking needs of Marietta, Cobb County and northwest Atlanta. With their dedication to excellence, integrity and service beyond expectations, they are sure to have another strong year in the campaign.
  
  
• Gas South, LLC is a leading provider of natural gas services in Georgia serving approximately 170,000 residential business and governmental customers. Gas South is committed to providing customers with industry-leading customer service and competative rates.
  
  
• Georgia Power Company is the largest subsidiary of The Southern Company, one of the nation’s largest generators of electricity. Georgia Power Company has been a top producing campaign team for more than 16 years. They are a key supporter of the Chamber not only in membership recruitment, but across many disciplines such as economic development and government advocacy. 
  
  
•  Founded in 2001, Georgian Bank is a locally-owned community bank serving metro Atlanta. The bank is owned through its one-bank holding company, Sweetwater Financial Group. Georgian Bank continues to experience significant growth. The staff is experienced both in banking and Chamber Campaign drives and is ready to help out once again.
  
  
• The Georgian Club’s membership director, Beverly Huff, has been a one-person campaign team for 25 years - earning 19 Lifetime Membership Awards. One of Atlanta’s premier, private fine dining clubs, The Georgian Club provides its members the best of both worlds: a casually elegant environment perfect for business meetings and social entertaining.
  
  
•  A group of respected leaders from Cobb's universities and colleges make up the Higher Education Team. Participants from Chattahoochee Technical College, Kennesaw State University, Life University, North Metro Technical University and Southern Polytechnic State University will join together as a strong first year team. We wish them the best of luck.
  
  
• With more than 17 years of experience in the Atlanta area dealing with hundreds of major builders and developers, The Keller Williams Realty Platinum Partners is led by licensed real estate broker Dan O’Brien. He has participated in the Cobb Chamber’s membership drive for more than 14 years and has been a top producer 13 times! The Chamber is privileged to have his enthusiasm and commitment.
  
  
• The Leadership Cobb Alumni Association (LCAA) promotes leadership potential of its members through networking and continuing education on relevant Cobb County. These graduates of the Chamber's Leadership Cobb program understand the value and importance of the Chamber, it's programs and services. Committed to giving back, this third year team has already hit the ground running.
  
  
• NorthWest Bank & Trust was founded by a group of local Cobb business and community leaders who believe in honesty and integrity and have an unwavering commitment to quality customer service. This new direction in community banking blends up-to-date technology with care and concern. NorthWest Bank & Trust are Campaign pros, having a high rate of success. • Post Properties, Inc. is well known for providing a superior apartment living experience for its residents and for the award-winning landscapes and community atmosphere of its properties. Post has been a strong supporter of the Campaign for many years and we appreciate their high-level of commitment to the Chamber.
  
  
• RBC Centura Bank is dedicated to assisting the Chamber in its efforts to recruit new members. RBC Centura Bank is a full service financial institution that supplies and serves personal and commercial customers through more than 280 retail and business banking centers in five southeastern states. Supporting the Campaign for a fourth year, they are pumped and ready to go!
  
  
• Security Exchange Bank opened for business in 2000 to serve Cobb County's residents. Now their market also includes parts of Douglas, Cherokee, Paulding and north Fulton counties. As a true community bank, Security Exchange Bank is locally owned. The Chamber is very excited to have them on board once again. These seasoned banking professionals are up to the challenge!
  
  
• SunTrust Bank, Atlanta is one of the nation’s largest commercial banking organizations. Through various subsidiaries, the company provides credit cards, mortgage banking, insurance, brokerage and capital markets services in addition to its primary banking services.
