A Salute to Public Safety The Cobb Chamber of Commerce pays tribute to public safety personnel at its annual Public Safety Appreciation Breakfast. A highlight of the breakfast is the presentation of the annual Public Safety Employee of the Year award and additional awards of Merit, Valor or Distinguished Achievement if circumstances warrant. This year's breakfast kicked off the 13th annual Public Safety Appreciation Week. This countywide effort gives the entire community an opportunity to say “thank you” to public safety personnel who protect citizens of our municipalities and our county each day.
