Area Councils
Meet the movers and shakers of the business community at Area Council meetings. Through six Area Councils in the Cumberland, East Cobb, Marietta, North Cobb, Smyrna and South Cobb areas, the Chamber unifies and advocates for Cobb’s businesses. Each council promotes grassroots actions, and speakers keep members up-to-date on the successes and issues in that area. All Area Councils hold either breakfast or lunch meetings at various
locations on a quarterly or bi-monthly basis.

2010 Ambassador of the Year:
Jason Sleeman, financial center manager of Fifth Third Bank, was named the 2010 Ambassador of the Year at the Cobb Chamber's March 7 First Monday Breakfast.
Sleeman volunteers as a Chamber liaison by contacting new members, attending Chamber functions and facilitating personal connections among members. He is also Chairman for the Cobb Chamber's ACES program.
